Research Interests
Our research focuses on synthetic biology. We are exploring new applications of microorganisms as platforms for personalized medicine, screening systems for valuable biological molecules, and tools for modulating functions in plants. Additionally, we are investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying infectious diseases caused by Gram-negative pathogens, such as Salmonella, pathogenic E. coli species, and Acinetobacter baumannii. Consequently, our findings are being integrated into the design of engineered bacteria for disease treatment, including various cancers and biological therapeutics.
